Policies & Guidelines

  • All Victorian government schools are under the jurisdiction of DET policies and guidelines. For reference to all DET policies, please visit DET’s Policy and Advisory Library (PAL)
  • Policies ratified by CSPS School Council are those localised to meet school needs.
  • The year (e.g. 2022) after the policy title indicates the year of endorsement.

Policy involvement

CSPS has a Policy Sub Committee which focuses on policy development, consultation and ratification.  The Policy Sub Committee 

  • meet once a month
  • are always seeking feedback to ensure that policies are pure and authentic to purpose.

If you would like to a member of the Policy Sub Committee or would like to provide feedback in other ways, please contact the Office, attention Principal.

After any significant child safety event (or every two years), CSPS Policy Sub Committee will inform the school community of any changes made to policies or procedures as a result of their review.

Child Safe Policies

Child Safe Communication:  Child safe is everyone’s responsibility.  CSPS is fully committed to creating and maintaining a child safe organisation and protecting students from all forms of abuse.  As such, it is crucial that parents/carers and the school community have the opportunity to have a say in the development and review of child safety and wellbeing policies and practices.
